             TOWARDS 2019....next stop SIXTY

VERSE 1:

Groovy, fab, far out

Man that really was the time,

Get on down, express yourself,

Hook another line.

Jagger and The Beatles,

Dusty the real deal,

Such a blast, a real gas

With me and Mrs Peel.

VERSE 2:

Groovy, fab, far out,

Man that really was the time,

Bum a smoke, make out,

In the juke box stick a dime.

Jagger and The Beatles,

Dusty the real deal,

Such a blast, a real gas

With me and Mrs Peel.

BRIDGE:

Don't you love them madly,

Don't you love them madly,

Don't you love their ways,

Swinging sixties days.

VERSION 3:

Groovy, fab, far out,

Man that really was the time,

So hip those threads, real gone sounds,

The scene - out of sight,

Jagger and The Beatles,

Dusty the real deal,

Such a blast, a real gas

With me and Mrs Peel.

VERSE 4:

Groovy, fab far out,

Man that really was the time,

Cool those chicks, hot those cats,

Those dudes - so divine.

Jagger and The Beatles,

Dusty the real deal,

Such a blast, a real gas

With me and Mrs Peel.

Me And Mrs Peel - LYRICS

The fun song. A big nod to the original Avengers series and in particular the Mrs. Peel episodes and all things 60s!

Despite seeming to be quite simple, it wasn't an easy one for me to put together. I had a basic melody but had to try and pull together several different musical parts, including a twiddly jazz bit and ultimately the Bridge.
